HEMPEL'S GALVOSIL 15700/15750

HEMPEL'S GALVOSIL 15700/15750 is a solvent-borne zinc silicate.   The cured film is purely inorganic and fully resistant to most organic solvents and generally allows a close sequence of cargoes.   It has its limitations towards cargoes containing acids or alkalis. The pH value of the cargo must be between 6 and 9.   HEMPEL'S GALVOSIL 15700/15750 is the typical choice in connection with cargoes of pure solvents like e.g. benzene, toluene, xylene, acetone, methanol and chlorinated hydrocarbons, or mixtures of such solvents.   Specification:   Dry film thickness: 1 x 100 µm Cleanliness: Sa 2½  (ISO 8501-1) Roughness: BN10a (Rugotest No. 3)   HEMPEL’S GALVOSIL FIBRE 15750 is a fibre containing version of 15700 with the same resistances.

HEMPADUR 15500

HEMPADUR 15500 is a phenolic epoxy which is amine cured, but which can be post-cured by heating to obtain the highest possible resistance.   The post-cured phenolic epoxy is resistant to the major part of those cargoes carried in chemical tankers and generally allows a close sequence of cargoes. Furthermore it fulfils FDA requirements to tanklinings in contact with foodstuffs. The limitation is strongly acidic cargoes like e.g. mineral acids.   HEMPADUR 15500 is the natural choice when the broadest possible resistance and a close sequence of cargoes is required.   Specification:     Dry film thickness: 3 x 100 µm Cleanliness: Sa 2½-3  (ISO 8501-1) Roughness: BN10a (Rugotest No. 3)

HEMPADUR 15460

HEMPADUR 15460 is an amine cured epoxy. It has excellent resistance to a wide range of chemicals like C3, C4 and C5 alcohols, gasoline, oils and  towards cargoes containing acids and especially alkalis.   HEMPADUR 15460 is the typical choice in connection with cargoes of oil and oil products, fats, certain fertilisers and e.g. caustic soda.   Specification:     Dry film thickness: 2 x 125 µm Cleanliness: Sa 2½ (ISO 8501-1) Roughness: BN10a (Rugotest No. 3)

HEMPADUR 15600

HEMPADUR 15600 is an amine cured epoxy tank coating with excellent adhesion to steel and resistance to crude oil, product oils, solvents, wastewater, mud & brines and seawater.   Pure epoxy HEMPADUR 15600 dries and cures fast, and has high chemical and heat resistance. It offers reliable all year around application and an easy to clean hard, glossy surface.   Specification:   Dry Film Thickness: 2 x 125 µm Cleanliness: Sa 2½ (ISO 8501-1) Roughness: BN10a (Rugotest No. 3)

HEMPADUR 15400

HEMPADUR 15400 is an amine cured epoxy. It has excellent resistance to solvents, except those with the lowest boiling point. Furthermore, it has quite good resistance towards cargoes containing acids and especially alkalis.   HEMPADUR 15400 is the typical choice in connection with cargoes of oil and oil products, fats, certain fertilisers and e.g. caustic soda.   Specification:     Dry film thickness: 3 x 80 µm Cleanliness: Sa 2½  (ISO 8501-1) Roughness: BN10a (Rugotest No. 3)
